Check availability first

Visit the Mac download page for the current release status. It is the source for confirmed macOS requirements, supported hardware, installer size, and signing information. A development deployment target is not a verified compatibility promise.

There is no Mac App Store installation workflow. Public distribution is planned as a Developer ID signed and Apple notarized DMG from this website.

Install an available release

  1. Confirm your Mac meets the requirements shown on the download page.
  2. Download the DMG using that page’s installer link.
  3. Open the DMG and drag B-Roll Archives into Applications.
  4. Eject the mounted installer and open the app from Applications.
  5. Follow the release’s published activation or beta instructions, then connect a footage folder or drive.

Expected result: the app opens to its onboarding or Archive interface after any required activation.

If installation does not work

Do not bypass a macOS warning for an unverified installer. Check that you used the current website download and that the release lists your hardware and macOS version. Contact support with the warning text and release version.

The working prototype has been tested on Apple Silicon with macOS 26.3. Requires Apple Silicon (M1 or later); Intel Macs are not supported. Earlier macOS runtime compatibility remains unverified. Final licence and trial terms will be published with distribution; illustrative prices are not a live offer.
